    Summer Youth Works
The City of Dublin, Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce and the Heart of Georgia College and Career Academy need your help this summer to provide employment opportunities for local youth registered with the Summer Youth Works program.
Summer Youth Works will be an eight (8) week program and will run from June 3, 2019 through July 26, 2019. During the first week of the program, youth will be taught soft skills training, literacy and numeracy development and financial management. Participating businesses will then have the student(s) on site the remaining 7 weeks to offer mentoring opportunities and on-the-job skills training. Youth will be expected to work 32 hours per week at a minimum of $8/hr., schedules can be flexible and could include weekends to best suit the business. After the completion of the 8 weeks, businesses may also elect to keep the youth employed.
