Dublin City Schools announces the hiring of Jamie Paulk as new DHS principal

DUBLIN, GA, MAY 24, 2020 — Dublin City Schools is proud to announce that the Board of Education approved the hiring of Mr. Jamie T. Paulk as the new principal of Dublin High School.
Paulk obtained his Bachelor of Arts - BA focused in Elementary Education and Teaching from Claflin University and his Educational Specialist- Ed.S focused in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University.
A special “Meet and Greet” in the DHS Media Center/Rotunda with the new principal is slated for June 1 beginning at 9 a.m. for staff, continuing at 11 a.m. for students and parents, and concluding at 1 p.m. for the community. All visitors are asked to please wear masks.
The hiring follows several weeks of seeking, interviewing and vetting candidates with dozens of stakeholders including: the Dublin High School Local School Governance Team, student panels, parent panels, and community panels.

Dublin City Schools is a five-campus charter school system operating in Dublin, GA.
