Welcome
to the Dublin-Laurens County Welcome Center! We appreciate
your interest in our facility. We are located at Exit
51 at the intersection of Interstate 16 and Highway 441.
The Center officially opened for travelers on February
4, 2002. Funding for the facility came in the form of
generous donations and much needed grants. The land for
the facility was donated by the family of Superior Court
Judge Gibbs Flanders. A $200,000 grant from the State
of Georgia was secured by State Representative DuBose
Porter, Senator Hugh Gillis and State Representative Terry
Coleman. Contributions were made by many local businesses,
industries, and individuals to furnish the building and
complete the grounds.
We would like to invite you and yours to stop by our
Center for a helpful, interesting dose of information
on Dublin and the beautiful State of Georgia. Or, just come by for a friendly chat while you rest
from your travels!
We are open Monday through
Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
