    Business After Hours

    Business After Hours held monthly, averages between 150 and 300 attendees. The event provides excellent networking opportunities allowing attendees to meet new clients and customers.
     

    First Friday Means Business

     

     

     

     

    First Friday Means Business held monthly, averages between 75 and 90 attendees. This informational meeting includes the City Talk, County Talk, Chamber Talk and Sponsor Talk, along with a guest speaker. This event is great for those who can’t attend events after regular business hours.
     

    Membership Appreciation Day and Trade Show

    The Chamber, with the help from its Members, hosts the Annual Membership Appreciation Day to say "Thank You" to the membership.  This event also provides the opportunity for Chamber members to promote their business and services at a Trade Show.
     

    Pre and Post Legislative Events - Sponsored by Altamaha EMC and Oconee EMC

     

     

     

     

    Pre and Post Legislative events provide members with an opportunity to meet with State and local government officials, to ask questions, to voice concerns and gain a better insight on what import issues will be on the agenda for the upcoming session and the results of the last session.
     

    Small Business Counsel

    Members have the opportunity to meet with our Small Business Counsel at no cost, who can provide advice and guidance on a business plan, marketing, partnerships, human resources and much, much more. Let us help you be successful!

    Complimentary Membership to the Georgia Chamber Federation

    Businesses who are chamber members and have less than 10 full-time employees, receive a complimentary “Georgia Chamber Federation” membership. Benefits include representation at the state and federal levels as the Georgia Chamber advocates for pro-business measures, participation on statewide initiatives that create the Georgia Chamber’s legislative priorities, involvement in policy development through the Georgia Chamber’s grassroots network and member surveys, and timely information on legislative issues and educational opportunities.

    Chamber members are invited to attend and participate in our Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament, Annual Chamber Membership Dinner, the Irish Chamber Breakfast and Membership Appreciation Day & Trade Show.
     

    Referrals

    The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for recommendations on goods and services to be purchased in the Dublin-Laurens County area.  We refer only Chamber members to these newcomers, visitors, new industry, and area residents using our Chamber Member Directory.
     

    Two (2) Free Dublin-Laurens County Maps per year

    The Chamber offers an excellent marketing opportunity through the purchase of an ad on the map. This publication reaches thousand of potential customers.

    The Georgia Chamber has teamed up with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) to administer the Georgia Chamber SMART Plan (SMART). This plan allows employers to join together to share in the overall claims risk. By being part of a larger, self-funded pool, employers have financial protection backed by Anthem. This plan offers savings for groups with 2 to 50 eligible employees.
     

    Chamber members with 2-50 or more full-time employees are eligible for discounted health care rates (up to 30%). Most members who participate in this program state that the money they save in yearly premiums exceeds their annual membership investment amount.
     

    Discounted Auto-Owners Insurance Rates

    Up to a 14% discount on business and personal insurance: Business owners Policy, Commercial Automobile, Commercial Umbrella, Garage Liability/Dealer's Blanket, Tailored Protection Plan, and Workers Compensation. 
     

    Ribbon Cuttings/Ground Breakings

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    The Chamber of Commerce will assist with ribbon cutting/groundbreaking ceremonies for new businesses, new locations, or new ownership for any Chamber member.  The Chamber sends invitations to the media, local dignitaries, Chamber ambassadors and Board of Directors, and follows up by sending press releases to the Courier Herald to be published. 
     

    Shop at Home  - Shop Local Gift Checks - Sponsored by Morris Bank

    The Chamber offers Gift Checks year-round to be used at participating Chamber Member Businesses. Shop at Home - Shop Local gift checks come in increments of: $10, $15, $25, $50 and $100. These are used the same as a personal check.
     

    Drugs Don’t Work

    Chamber members receive a 7.5% discount off worker’s compensation premiums when they become a certified drug-free workplace.

    Chamber Web Site

    Chamber members have the option to make reservations online for events and make payments with a credit card.  They also have the capability to update their information, advertise sales and events, add press releases, and post job opportunities.  In addition, members can access reports that will allow them to see referrals, visits to their companies web page and view account information. Enhanced listings are now available for members to add their logo, photos, and videos. Marketing opportunities are also available on select pages of the Chamber’s web site.


  • Chamber of Commerce investment dues are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution but are tax deductible as a necessary business expense.
